“Then the King will say to those on his right, `Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world.
For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in,
I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’
Matthew 25 is a community of people who have a gift of pastoral care and hospitality. We meet twice a month on Wednesday evenings to fellowship and spend time studying scripture and praying together. We are traditional folks who love to care for our church so it is not unusual to find us working at maintaining our grounds, welcoming newcomers to the church by delivering bread to them, and meeting together to pray or study healing prayer. We spend time each month visiting and caring for the ladies at a local nursing home and at Christmas time we are honored to collect gift cards and serve at our local food pantry’s Christmas party.
We love to share our lives with each other and we welcome you to be a part of what we are doing.
