It is our hope that you feel welcomed and encouraged when you visit St. Philip’s. Ultimately, our prayer is that you experience the peace, love, and grace of God in your life!
St Philip’s is a non-denominational church with Anglican roots. You’ll find a church that adheres to scriptural authority and that helps you grow and love Jesus. We use several of the prayers and some of the liturgy found in the Anglican Prayer Book.
Children and youth are very important to us. We offer age-appropriate worship for kids and a nursery for infants during the service. During the school year, there are weekly middle and high school student groups. Every summer, we offer Kidz Kamp, our summer camp designed to share Christ with kids.
We believe that we are called to live the three-dimensional life of Up, In, and Out, patterned for us by Jesus. This means each of us needs to grow so that our worship extends beyond the weekend worship services.
UP – We grow in our relationship with God through weekly worship, devotions, prayer, and studying the scriptures.
IN – We encourage, support, and challenge each other in faith through worship, missional communities, small groups, Bible studies, and in other gatherings.
Out – We share our lives and faith with those who do not know or who have not experienced God’s love and grace for them in a variety of ways, often as simple as inviting a friend to church. St. Philip’s offers many opportunities to serve and give a little back.
St. Philip’s believes each of us is lost to sin. But by the grace and love of God through his only Son, Jesus, we can have a relationship with God himself. Jesus’ death on the cross and resurrection from the grave is the only power which can save us from our sin. It is a gift, offered freely for us to receive!
